An observation: Everyone in this restaurant is very overweight, waitresses and patrons alike. It's different from the previous states I've been in so far, where there are fat people but they're not the vast majority.

Morning in Grafton

No matter how much sleep I get, I always need a shower and coffee to feel awake in the morning. I guess I'm just not a morning person. Having a big room at the lodge gave me an opportunity to reorganize my bags, so everything is sorted more efficiently now. The side bags were touching the exhaust pipes and some of the things inside melted - nothing critical but not good - so I fixed that by mounting the bags differently.

Now I'm at the Four Corner restaurant eating a late breakfast of salad and spaghetti with orange juice. The sky looks terrible but the forecast is no rain, so I'm hoping the forecast is right. I'd like to see some sights in West Virginia before heading on, but I don't want to take too long getting to Illinois, as the boat won't be in the water forever.
